“Buyers Buddy has helped us to deliver better facilities for our pupils, teachers, and other staff, at a much reduced cost. We have moved from a costly set up with 22 photocopiers (usually not networked) and with all staff using desktop printers, over 300 in all. These were mostly slow, expensive and with limited functionality. We now have a fully networked suite of 49 MFDs complete with control/audit software. These have much higher functionality and flexibility, but are also going to save a lot of money as the desktop printers are history, and the management information system that comes with it gives us much better control. We expect to reduce our costs by 35% over the contract life. £300,000 in total. The main advantages of using Buyers Buddy we found were:
